SEGNALI PREOCCUPANTI DALL'EUROPA


Le informazioni ed i segnali che arrivano dalla Corporation e dall'IBM Europa non sono rassicuranti :

  1. Fatturati in forte discesa,
  2. Organizzazione della GBS in perenne crisi e ristrutturazione,
  3. Retribuzioni sempre più povere (sopratutto in Italia)
  4. Valutazioni PBC sempre più basse;
  5. Piano Incentivi Rappresentanti (Sales Plan) penalizzante e non trasparente;
  6. GDP incerto ed totalmente discrezionale (...fortunatamente in Italia c'è il Premio di Risultato , garantito da un Accordo Sindacale che IBM spaccia come facente parte del GDP!)
  7. Ulteriori cessioni di personale da IBM ad altre società
  8. Centinaia di persone che passano dall'ITD al Customer Fullfilment, reparto in via di estinzione.
  9. Migliaia di persone che "lasciano" l'IBM in Europa.
  10. Investimenti solo dove i profitti e la crescita sono a 2 digit, disinvestimenti altrove!

E potremmo continuare.

Certo il Mercato è in crisi, ma non basta a giustificare.

Vogliamo, però, essere prudenti. Diciamo solo che siamo preoccupati.

A Marzo si svolgera' l' incontro informativo annuale dopo il quale saremo in grado, insieme ai lavoratori, di fare una valutazione piu' puntuale.

 Worrying Signals Coming From Europe


Information and signals coming from IBM Corporation and from IBM Europe are not encouraging :
  1. Revenue in strong declining,
  2. GBS in eternal crisis and restructuring,
  3. Employees Salary in strong declining (particularly in Italy)
  4. PBC assessment more and more lower ;
  5. Sales Plan penalizing and murky;
  6. Unsure and totally discretionary GDP (...fortunately in Italy there is the "Premio di Produzione" , guaranteed by an Union Agreement that IBM passes off as GDP part!)
  7. Further employees transfer from IBM to other companies
  8. Hundreds of people transferred from ITD to Customer Fulfilment, department dying out .
  9. Thousands of people leaving IBM in Europe.
  10. Investment only where profits and growth have 2 digits , disinvestment elsewhere !

And we could carry on.

Sure, Market is in crisis , but it is not a sufficient justification.

But, we want to be prudent. Let only say that we are worried.

The National Coordinating Body of the Union Representatives in Italy have already done his own proposals, and not from today (see... http://www.rsuibm.org/20090123.htm#E).

On the next March it will take place the "Annual Informative Meeting" with IBM and after this Meeting we could make a more accurate evaluation, with all employees.
