GRUPPO IBM : UN PERCORSO COMUNE

Il 15 luglio 2008 presso la sede della Filcams-CGIL nazionale in Roma, si sono riunite le rappresentanze sindacali delle aziende del gruppo IBM Italia, (erano presenti le RSU/RSA di GlobalValue Services , IBM, Mediosystem e Sistemi Informativi di varie sedi) e le OOSS nazionali e territoriali della Fiom. Fim e Uilm, per i metalmeccanici e nazionali per Filcams, Fisascat e Uiltucs per il terziario, distribuzione e servizi.

Nel corso dell'incontro si è svolto un partecipato ed ampio dibattito dal quale sono emerse le seguenti necessità prioritarie:

1. integrare fortemente le politiche sindacali tra le varie RSU delle aziende del gruppo sia a livello nazionale che europeo e continuare ad informare costantemente i lavoratori;

2. urgenza d'individuare azioni incisive finalizzate ad ottenere un tavolo negoziale unitario per esaminare e discutere il piano industriale globale con particolare attenzione alle prospettive occupazionali di tutte le aziende del gruppo IBM Italia;

Proprio al fine della maggiore integrazione e rappresentanza comune delle varie realtà, le RSU di tutte le società del gruppo, dopo ampia discussione nel merito hanno inoltre deciso di dare mandato alle OO.SS. Fiom Fim e Uilm di formalizzare, nelle sedi e nei modi opportuni, le nomine dei delegati italiani al CAE IBM che saranno : titolare S. Virdis e sostituto L. Bassetti; inoltre si è deciso l'allargamento della Commissione Internazionale e la sua composizione; in particolare la commissione sarà formata da:

l 4 componenti, gia eletti, per l'IBM italia

l 2 componenti per ciascuna delle RSU/RSA delle altre aziende controllate (i cui nomi saranno comunicati dai rispettivi coordinamenti nel più breve tempo possibile e non oltre la fine di luglio).

Gli scopi della commissione saranno molteplici: supportare le attività connesse al CAE, trasmettere le informazioni alle varie RSU/RSA, elaborare e analizzare le informazioni ricevute, etc..

Tutti i partecipanti hanno assunto l'impegno di sviluppare, in tempi brevi, iniziative utili a garantire una puntuale informazione tra i lavoratori sui possibili scenari, sia dal punto di vista degli assetti societari, che di possibili riorganizzazioni, e di studiare forme e modalità delle iniziative di lotta che dovessero rendersi necessarie per la tutela degli interessi di tutti i lavoratori delle aziende del gruppo IBM Italia.

In particolare tutte le RSU/RSA presenti danno mandato alle OO.SS. nazionali di chiedere un incontro congiunto all'IBM presso il ministero delle attività produttive per discutere delle prospettive occupazionali e gli aspetti industriali delle società del gruppo IBM.

IBM GROUP: A PATH IN COMMON

On July 15, 2008, the Union Representative Bodies (Rappresentanze Sindacali Unitarie, RSU) of IBM Italy Group met in the Rome offices of the Italian Trade-Union Filcams-CGIL. Union Representatives of GlobalValue Services, IBM, Mediosystem and Sistemi Informativi of various locations were present, as well as the National and Local Trade-Unions of Fiom, Fim and Uilm (for metalworkers) and the National Trade-Unions of Filcams, Fisascat and Uiltucs (for the workers in the distribution, commerce and services industries).

During the meeting a wide discussion with numerous speeches was carried out, and the following primary needs emerged:

1. the need to strongly integrate the trade-union policies among the various RSUs of the IBM Group companies, both at Italian and European level, and to permanently keep the workers informed;

2. the need to urgently identify which may be the most incisive actions to undertake for achieving a common negotiation capability, with the purpose to examine and discuss the general IBM industrial plan, with specific care for the job prospects in all companies of IBM Italia;

In order to achieve a greater integration and a common delegation of the various offices, sites and companies, the RSUs of all companies in the Group decided, after a long discussion on the topic, to charge the National Trade-Unions Fiom, Fim e Uilm to make official, as provided by the rules, the appointment of the Italian delegates to IBM EWC, that is: regular delegate S. Virdis, and deputy L. Bassetti; besides, the increase in the number of the members of the International Committee, and its composition was decided too; in particular the Committee members will be:

l 4 members, already elected by IBM Italy

l 2 members, to be elected by the each one of the RSUs of the controlled companies (the names will be communicated by the respective Coordinating Body as soon as possible, and not beyond the end of July).

The purposes of the Committee are manifold: to support all activities connected to EWC, to spread info to the various RSUs, to work out and analyze the info received, etc.

All participants took on the job to develop, in short, initiatives fit to guarantee that the workers get accurate info on the possible scenarios, both from the point of view of the companies assets and their possible reorganization, and to study conditions and ways for the struggles that may be necessary in order to protect the interests of all workers of the companies in the IBM Italy Group.
